Baggers Rambles – Moffat – February 2024
Trip summary
Based at the Moffat Independent Hostel, where RHSoc visited in October 2022. Many Marilyns and other hills nearby either side of the M74 motorway from where there is hopefully easy access if the weather is poor.
We aim to have a couple of social ‘Baggers Rambles’ each year where members can meet at a hostel for a weekend or a few days.

Two nights from Friday 16 February 2024.
Some people are already planning to stay extra nights either before and / or afterwards.

RHSoc Members will be free to plan their own trips, or head off to the hills with others, to the many and various hills in sections 27 and 28.
Places available
Max 18 in the hostel. We will have exclusive use for the 2 nights of the meet. There are various other accommodation options in Moffat.

The hostel has 6 bedrooms sleeping 18 in total in rooms of 2 or 4. All bedding is provided.
Cost
The bed night charge will average about £30. Smaller private rooms will cost more, 4 bed dorms room less. Please indicate which room(s) you are interested in when booking, and if you’d like to share with others.
