The trip is being organised by the Seabird Centre over the week 3rd to 9th November 2025.
It will be a one-island only trip to the Bass Rock on a 12-seater RIB, costing £40 per head.
The Bass Rock is a Hump as well as a SIB.

There may be an opportunity for more than one drop-off on the day.

Places available

12 per trip.

Departure or meeting place

This will be confirmed nearer the departure date

Challenges and competences needed

Due to the nature of the landing, participants may need to have some flexiblity to take account of the often difficult landing conditions due to high swell.

For the trip to Bass Rock, I suggest wellies/old boots as well as old clothing due to the
guano!

Replies by August 22nd please.

Cost

The RIB takes a maximum of 12 people at a cost of £40 per head for the BASS Rock trip.
The fewer the numbers on the RIB the higher the cost will be for the trip.
If additional islands are included in the Bass Rock trip or additional trips are organised for the wider itinerary then the cost will be higher and is unknown at this stage.

If you are interested in this trip and would also like to visit other islands in the Forth
please include your preferred dates and itinerary and I will discuss with the Seabird

Bass Rock trip will be the priority.
