Oban trip - island bagging

Trip summary

Two separate day trips from Oban for Island, Trigpoint and Lighthouse bagging.
One day, Trip A, has been more or less defined, see below.
The other, Trip B, has an open itinerary with destinations to be visited selected by popular
demand. This follows on from the suggestion made at the RHSoc AGM to let people have
a say about where trips go.

Places available

12 places are available on each day trip.

Accommodation

Participants are to make their own accommodation arrangements.
The organiser will help put people in touch with other trip participants if they wish.

Challenges and competences needed

Participants must be able to transfer from the larger RIB to a smaller tender. And from
the tender to shore, possibly involving slippery rocks or easy scrambling.

Coastal Connection, who have been used on many successful trips in the past.

Cost

Participants should budget £100 – £120 for each trip, assuming a full boat of 12 passengers.

No payment is required at this time.
But full payment will be required once accepted on a trip.
Once paid, no monies can be refunded unless a substitute or reserve is found.

Join Us

The Relative Hills Society is a friendly, informal group, aimed at helping folk meet their climbing and walking ambitions, and have fun in the hills.
 
We aim to promote an interest in climbing the British hills that are prominent relative to their surroundings.
