Trip summary

10 island trip to the North coast of Scotland visiting SIBS between Tongue and Armadale
to include the Rabbit Islands, operating out of Loch Erribol/Melness .

Two identical trips are planned
24th and 25th April, 2026
With 26th as a contingency day

Due to popularity two boat trips are scheduled between 24-26April with best weather
days used, thus individuals should be prepared to have flexibility in their arrangements

Places available

Each boat trip is for up to 12 people. With the same objectives but minor variations possible subject to tide/wind.

Departure or meeting place

For planning purposes assume the boat will depart from Melness at 08:00. NC626612. Subject to update.

Challenges and competences needed

To land on the islands you will need to be able to exit from and return to a moving tender
boat onto a rocky coastline or pebbly beach.

Cost

£150 per person, depending on numbers, assuming at least 12 on each trip.
