Based in the independent Ballater Hostel on Royal Deeside there is excellent access to the hills of Lochngar, Glenshee, and the Southern Cairngorms.

Accommodation

The hostel has 7 bedrooms, all of which have en-suite toilet and shower. There are 29 beds, which can sleep a maximum of 32 people (3 king size beds). All bedding is provided. Every bed has a private reading light and all beds upstairs have a personal power point.

Cost is likely to be between £60 and £90 per person for 3 nights depending on numbers / type of room booked, with a £30 deposit.
